The Chair welcomed all those present to the inaugural meeting of Scrutiny Panel 1 – Food Poverty.

The Chair to note any apologies for absence.

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor Russell (Deputy Chair) and Councillors Bottwood, Cali and Smith.

Members to state any interests.  Declarations will be for the life of this Scrutiny Review.

Deputations/Public Address

The Chair to note public address requests.

The public can speak on any agenda item for a maximum of three minutes per speaker per item.  You are not required to register your intention to speak in advance but should arrive at the meeting a few minutes early, complete a Public Address Protocol and notify the Scrutiny Officer of your intention to speak.

The Scrutiny Panel to scope the review.

The Scrutiny Panel considered the draft scope of the review – Food Poverty, making additions and updates as appropriate.

AGREED:      That the scope of the review – Food Poverty, as appended to the minutes is presented to the July 2019 meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee for approval.
